Terms of Service
Effective September 6, 2026
Agreement
By using StopSafe, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Not an Emergency Service
StopSafe is not a substitute for 911 or other emergency services. If anyone is injured or in danger, call emergency services immediately before using the app.
General Information Only
Guidance shown in StopSafe โ including "Know Your Rights" content and insurance-deadline reminders such as Florida PIP notices โ is general information only and is not legal or medical advice. Laws vary by state and change over time; confirm any deadline or requirement with a licensed attorney or your insurer.
Evidence Is Tamper-Evident, Not a Guarantee of Admissibility
StopSafe hashes and time-stamps captured media and logs an audit trail so that any later alteration can be detected. This makes evidence packets tamper-evident and attorney-ready. StopSafe does not represent or warrant that any evidence it produces will be accepted as admissible by any court, insurer, or other party.
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, including profile, insurance, and witness details.
- You are responsible for backing up or exporting evidence you want to keep โ StopSafe stores data locally, and deleting the app or resetting the local database permanently removes it.
- You must use StopSafe safely: do not operate the app, including capturing photos or video, in a way that puts you or others in danger.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Sharing an evidence packet with a law firm through StopSafe does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. Any such relationship is formed only through direct agreement with that firm.
Prohibited Use
Do not use StopSafe to fabricate, alter, or misrepresent evidence, or for any unlawful purpose.
Disclaimer of Warranties
StopSafe is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that crash detection will identify every incident.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StopSafe and the individuals who develop it are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including data loss from device failure, deletion, or uninstalling the app.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as StopSafe changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
